The initial visit and survey
When you first contact A.A.MacMillan and both
parties are agreeable, we will arrange a time for us to visit your home. During this visit A.A.Macmillan will survey
your heating system and if we believe that a power flush is suitable we will chemically dose your system
with Kamco Hyperflush. We always double the suggested dose, there is no harm in this and it guarantees that you
get ample cleaning chemicals. We also always leave the empty cartons with our customers, too prove that the stated dosage
and brand of chemicals were used.
The power flush itself, will take place between
two and four weeks later. We ask you to run your heating system for at least an hour per day. This gives
Kamco Hyperflush chemicals the maximum opportunity to penetrate, loosen, and disolve, rust, sludge and scale particles.

Many other power flushing operators do not bother
with the initial visit and survey. This in our view is a dubious practice; if someone has booked you in over the phone for
a days work and then on the day itself discovers that your system is unsuitable for power flushing, what happens
then ? Do they just carry on regardless ? Also, any chemical that is added to the system on the day of the power flush
is almost certain to be less effective. With A.A.Macmillan The power flushing process is working hard for you and your heating
system for weeks; not just for a few hours!
There is one very large company, ( a household name) that offers power flushing
over and above their monthly maintenance contracts. However; their idea of a powerflush is for them (or some sub contractor)
to turn up on the day, hook up the pump, add 1 litre of acid, run the system for 1 hour, give the system a quick power
flush and hope for the best!
For this dubious service, the very highest of prices are always charged.
An A.A.MacMillan power flush may cost less than this "outfits", but
please do not mistake it for a cheap job. Infact; with our technologically advanced equipment and proven methodical operating

Chemicals, cleaning and protection
When the power flush is complete, we will add Kamco Systemsafe DM and Kamco Systemhush to
the clean system water, therefore giving long term protection to your heating system, extending its life and maintaining operational
efficiency.
Finally, a certificate of power flushing completion is issued, and the customer settles the
balance of their account with A.A.MacMillan.
